Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites and services provided by Turntable Medic LLC ("Turntable Medic," "we," "us," or "our"), including turntablemedic.com, myturntablemedic.com, and the customer portal at portal.myturntablemedic.com. By submitting a repair request or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Repair Services

Turntable Medic provides turntable, console, and audio equipment repair services from our shop in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We accept equipment in person and by mail. All repairs are performed on a best-effort basis by experienced technicians.

We will diagnose your equipment and provide an estimate before performing billable work. If we determine that a repair is not feasible or cost-effective, we will contact you before proceeding. A diagnostic or bench fee may apply regardless of whether a repair is performed.

2. Estimates and Authorization

Repair estimates are provided based on initial diagnosis. Actual costs may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will contact you for authorization before exceeding an original estimate by more than a reasonable amount. Your continued use of our services after receiving a revised estimate constitutes acceptance.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the repair, prior to the return of your equipment. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, PayPal, and checks. Credit card payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

Unpaid invoices may accrue interest or be referred to collections after reasonable notice. Equipment will not be returned until all outstanding balances are paid.

4. Shipping and Handling

For mail-in repairs, you are responsible for shipping your equipment to us in appropriate packaging. We are not liable for damage that occurs during inbound shipping. We will use reasonable care in packaging your equipment for return shipment.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed. Shipping insurance is recommended and available at checkout. Risk of loss transfers to the shipping carrier upon handoff.

5. Warranty

Turntable Medic provides a 90-day limited warranty on labor performed. This warranty covers defects in workmanship for the specific repair performed. It does not cover new issues unrelated to the original repair, damage from misuse, power surges, or normal wear and tear.

Parts are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties where applicable. Used or new-old-stock parts are provided as-is unless otherwise stated on your invoice.

6. Limitation of Liability

Turntable Medic's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific repair in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use of equipment, loss of data, or lost profits.

We exercise reasonable care with all equipment entrusted to us, but we are not liable for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed damage, or issues that become apparent only after disassembly.

7. Abandoned Equipment

Equipment left at our shop for more than 90 days after notification of completed repair or declined estimate, without response from the owner, will be considered abandoned. We will make at least two attempts to contact you (by email and/or phone) before deeming equipment abandoned. Abandoned equipment may be recycled, donated, or disposed of at our discretion. No refund or compensation will be provided for abandoned equipment.
